Third All Network Meeting (ANM-3)

January 8-9, 2010

More than 60 BiopSys researchers and partners participated in the 3rd BiopSys All Network Meeting (ANM-3) during January 8-9, 2010.  The meeting in Toronto included BiopSys researcher talks, along with formal and informal research discussion and planning events.  BiopSys students and postdocs presented 28 posters at two sessions, using a highly interactive informal format.  Experienced entrepreneur and BiopSys investigator Cynthia Goh made a presentation to the students on entrepreneurship for scientists, including best practices for technology development and transfer.  A workshop on theory and practice of optical microscopy was was organized by and for students and postdocs.

Students Chiara Valsecchi, Suli Niu, Ruby May Sullan, Uvaraj Uddayasankar, and Sébastien Besner won awards for their poster presentations.
